Oh, and by the way...
There ain't no way in Hell that this Scout is going to make it to Nats this year. I guess, it'll be the '74 200 instead. Poor me (well, maybe it will be poor me after I finish paying for gas). Next stop Fall Pinelands (October 24-26).

Look on the bright side: Gas is only $3.50 per gallon now. By Nats it could be even lower! (Fill up now though, just in case. :)
Yeah, right! I am trying to get a work meeting tagged onto this (in Columbus), so may be able to get them to help pay for gas. Fingers are firmly crossed.

...and isn't it a little ironic that we are saying that gas is *only* $3.50/gallon?
Gas prices have been so shocking that I'll take any relief I can get. :)
